Who we are

Vertis is a commerce platform for local businesses, operated by Alder Creek Digital. This policy covers the Vertis marketing website. If you shop on a store powered by Vertis, the merchant running that store is the controller of your data — not us.

What we collect

• Information you give us. When you submit our contact form we collect your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, business name, business type, and message.
• Marketing attribution. If you arrive from an ad or a link, we record the page you landed on, the referring site, and any campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term) in your browser session, and store them with your enquiry so we know which campaign it came from.
• Advertising cookies. When advertising is active we use the Meta Pixel, which sets cookies and reports page views and form submissions to Meta to measure ad performance. If no pixel is configured, no third-party advertising script is loaded at all.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to build profiles beyond measuring which advertising works.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal.
• To understand which marketing channels bring us customers.
• To operate, secure, and improve this website.

Payments

Vertisdoes not store payment card details. Card payments on stores we operate are processed by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. Funds settle directly into the merchant's own Stripe account.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help us run the business — our hosting and database infrastructure, Cloudflare for content delivery, Stripe for payments, and Meta for advertising measurement. We disclose information when legally required.

Retention and your rights

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to serve you and to keep business records. You may request a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing hello@vertiscommerce.com. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.
